Since 2013 we have enjoyed a short tour, which takes place after one of our monthly eastern meeting on Wednesday night. Instead of the usual dinner we enjoy at the Watts Resturant, members get to enjoy a night out with some bringing their spouses as well. We chose Distillery district in downtown Toronto, and it has quickly become a popular tour, attracting a lot of members, despite being a weekday.
This year the route was different, as the organizers figured out some NEW routes, that some of us had no idea existed in the city. Since it’s in the middle of the summer, the sun does shine to the late hours, allowing us a great view of the city and it’s surroundings.
Parking is a bit of an issue, but no one complains as it’s downtown, and it happens once a year. The best way to wind down on a weekday short excursion was to have a few rounds of suds and with dinner at a resturant that we pre-book for our members.
