Warren Skimmings – Townsville, North Queensland
This car came to me 1977 to be highly modified for Hill Climbs, Sprints and still registered on the road for club drives. Repainted from the original Kalahari Tan in 1988. The colour is a 1987 Nissan as Blue Light. The vents in the bonnet are aluminium to let the hot air out of the engine bay – the turbo had already scorched the bonnet paint above it.
