On May 6, 2020 Ontario Z Car held it’s first ever virtual meet-up on Zoom. What a night! Over 30 members “gathered” including special guests from our sister clubs in the U.S.
Much like a regular OZC meeting, we started with some social, then club updates. Chris Karl was even on hand to give us an update on the planning for this year’s ZCON. (We’re still hoping!)
The highlight of the night was a presentation by OZC member and Z enthusiast Jack MacDonnell. Jack own’s www.restoshop.com and is also the organizer and driver of the GRIP Autocross Championship. Jack was able to share his experience on “Keeping Your Car Shiny During COVID-19”. His presentation (and the lengthy Q&A afterwards) was a great way to learn about the details under our car paint, and tips on how we can keep it looking good. A huge thank you to Jack for putting the effort for this presentation – and how cool to get a great view of his shop in the background (we’re jealous!). Contact Jack at www.restoshop.com if you’re looking for further advice or need services – he knows our cars and knows his stuff!
Above is the “presentation” portion of the evening that we’d like to share with you! (We cut out the Q&A and socializing – come on out to our next meet-up if you want to participate!)
If you’d like PDF version of the presentation – it’s available here.
