DESCRIPTION:Join us at our monthly meetup to hear the latest club news and event updates\, but most importantly to catch up with old and new Z friends.  Meet up with us on the second Wednesday of each month\, at a new location to change it up!  New potential members are always welcome to come and see what we’re all about.  Just a fun bunch of car enthusiasts. \nThis month we will be doing another MINI-CRUISE before the meeting from CAMBRIDGE to BRANTFORD via PARIS.  We will all MEET-UP at the FORWARD BAPTIST CHURCH at 55 Franklin Blvd\, Cambridge\, ON N1R 5S2 (FRANKLIN BLVD & MYERS RD). \nLook for this car below in the large parking lot…  ARRIVE BETWEEN 5:00PM – 5:30PM (latest) to chat and join up with fellow Z enthusiasts.  Don’t be late… we won’t wait! \n \nACTUAL DINNER & MEETING AT PIPER ARMS BRANTFORD at 299 Wayne Gretzky Pkwy Unit #7\, Brantford\, ON N3R 8A5  We have a registration with a guestimate on attendees – if you can please email Derek Matysik as the coordinator if you are planning to attend at least 1 DAY PRIOR so he can ensure enough space for everyone.  They will reserve a bunch of parking spots like at the last dinner meeting to ensure safe parking for your rides.  We also have the large private room off to the side so we can have good and productive car club conversations. \nMEETING to include discussions on all things NISSAN / DATSUN… open to suggestions on all car topics always!  Hoping to do a NISSAN / DATSUN TRIVIA CONTEST…  AMS OIL representative RICK will be attending and has a new product to show everyone as well! \n \nWe also hope to park all cars together in one area… take lots of pictures for ZEDLINE MAGAZINE… if you get to the restaurant early\, just tell them you’re with the ONTARIO Z CAR CLUB… or a potential new member! \nWe start the meeting at 7:30 PM but come earlier to join us for a bite to eat at 6:00 PM (approximately)… always good food & good times! \nFor those who’d like more information\, please reach out to Derek Matysik directly as the Western Chapter VP.

SUMMARY:OZC at the 2025 VARAC Vintage Grand Prix Lapping Day
DESCRIPTION:Every year as part of the annual VARAC Vintage Grand Prix weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park\, VARAC runs a lapping/test day on the Thursday of the event. \nAnd every year\, a handful of Z cars from OZC join them! \nBy far it is the best “bang for your buck” on the Grand Prix Track at CTMP\, with this year’s fee staying at only $400 for the day. \nThis is not an aggressive track day – it’s a well organized\, well run\, good people kind of event.  Only one group is available for street cars (so the diversity of cars is vast) – but everyone who has attended in the past has expressed what great value it is\, and what a fantastic day they had with lots of run time. \nBonus is that you’ll get to see all the race cars up close and personal that will be racing at the VARAC Vintage Grand Prix that weekend. \nTo register\, access the event website listed in the details below; for more information you can contact event organizer Colleen Samila (varacvgp@gmail.com) or for an OZC member’s perspective you can contact Glenn Walker at glenn.walker@bell.net

DESCRIPTION:Join us at our first Nissan Dealer Event of the year in Brantford\, Ontario on Saturday\, June 14th.   \nThe excitement will start at 11am with an invitation to all existing Ontario Z Car members.  We will also open up this event to potential new members and family to learn more about our great car club.   \nWe look forward to fun conversations with other car enthusiasts from all Z generations.  We will have some great prizes from our sponsoring local Nissan dealer alongside other items from our car club. The event will also have a BBQ sponsored by the Brantford Nissan dealership to raise funds for a local charity of choice.  \nThe day will close out at 3pm with the potential for a local mini-cruise for Z car members from Brantford to Cambridge via Paris Ontario.
