DESCRIPTION:Join us at our Nissan Dealer Event in Brantford\, Ontario on Saturday June 13th\, 2026. \nThe excitement will start at 11am with an invitation to all existing Ontario Z Car members.  We will also open up this event to potential new members and family to learn more about our great car club.   \nWe look forward to fun conversations with other car enthusiasts from all Z generations.  We will have some great prizes from our sponsoring local Nissan dealer alongside other items from our car club. The event will also have a BBQ sponsored by the Brantford Nissan dealership to raise funds for a local charity of choice.  \nThe day will close out at 3pm with the potential for a local mini-cruise for Z car members from Brantford to Cambridge via Paris Ontario. DESCRIPTION:Every year as part of the annual VARAC Vintage Grand Prix weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park\, VARAC runs a lapping/test day on the Thursday of the event. \nAnd every year\, a handful of Z cars from OZC join them! \nBy far it is the best “bang for your buck” on the Grand Prix Track at CTMP\, with this year’s fee staying at only $475 for the day. \nThis is not an aggressive track day – it’s a well organized\, well run\, good people kind of event.  Only one group is available for street cars (so the diversity of cars is vast) – but everyone who has attended in the past has expressed what great value it is\, and what a fantastic day they had with lots of run time. \nBonus is that you’ll get to see all the race cars up close and personal that will be racing at the VARAC Vintage Grand Prix that weekend. \nTo register\, access the event website listed in the details below; for more information you can contact event organizer Colleen Samila (varacvgp@gmail.com) or for an OZC member’s perspective you can contact Glenn Walker at glenn.walker@bell.net

DESCRIPTION:Let’s Go Karting!!!! – We’ve got a tentative date at the Hamilton Karting Complex – OUTDOOR GO-KART TRACK that is an absolutely AWESOME TIME… with all your fellow OZC car enthusiasts! \nWe need to confirm PAYING PARTICIPANTS BY JUNE 10th\, so we can pay the deposit and secure the date/time. \n*** WE WILL REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT AHEAD OF TIME FROM EACH MEMBER (+1 allowed).   BASE COST IS $160 + TAX EACH WITH 10 PEOPLE THAT IS THE MINIMUM REQUIRED. \nAt this time\, they do have July 26th available with an arrival time of 11:00am\, 11:30am on track.  But we will need to firm this up very quickly to ensue we don’t miss this opportunity. \nEveryone in our group will be registered as a member for the 2026 season. Hamilton Karting Complex is a private race track – not open to the General Public – all participants have to be a member. The cost of each individual’s membership is included in the racing fee highlighted below.  This will allow the members of our group to come out any time following your event to race and/or practice at our convenience. \nThey would ask all participants to come prepared with closed shoes (e.g. running shoes)\,  gloves (any type of glove is fine – available for purchase if needed)\, and their complete waivers (link attached here) . Racing suits are mandatory and can be rented for $12. They provide racing helmets.  (You can always bring your own if you have it). \nYour racing event will take approximately 2 – 2.5 hours depending on the number of participants. Each racer will be on track 5 times (2 practice sessions and 3 heat races). \nEvent Schedule \nDriver Orientation:              20 minutes \nOn-Track Practice:               Each weight class will complete 2 on-track practice sessions \nDrivers Meeting:                 10 minutes (prior to racing starting) \nRacing:                                  3 races (2 heat races and 1 feature race) \nCost:                                      $160.00 + HST per person (if we have the minimum participants which initial survey was good) \nREGISTER HERE: https://bit.ly/ozckartingevent \nThe racing karts reach speeds up to 50 MPH / 80 KMPH. DESCRIPTION:DQ Miracle Treat Day in 2026 will be on Thursday\, August 13th. On this day\, Dairy Queen locations in Canada and the US will donate $1 or more from every Blizzard treat sold to local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This initiative helps support vital programs\, equipment\, research\, and training for children’s healthcare.  \nOZC will be at the Dairy Queen Woodbridge Location to support the event.  We can accommodate between 10 and 15 cars in front of the building.

DESCRIPTION:Ontario Z Car and Nissan Canada present OZC’s 31st annual Z-FEST!  Register online now! \nJoin us on Sunday\, August 30th from 9am to 3pm at Nissan Canada headquarters to celebrate Datsuns\, Nissans and affiliated brands. \nFood truck by Cheese Boutique (for breakfast and lunch!) and ice cream truck over lunch will be onsite. \nEnter your car in the show’n shine which includes awards in all car categories plus a people’s choice award. \n\nawards are based on popular vote ballots submitted by the car show registrants\nincludes the RZ34 category for the 7th generation Z car and a true peoples choice voted on by spectators at the show\nincludes vendors and more prizes!\narrive no later than 12:00 noon to be included in the voting process (voting ends at 1pm)\nthe car show online pre-registration deadline is August 28 at midnight\, doing so reduces your car show entry fee and eliminates your paperwork the day of!\nthe car show fee is $15 for OZC Members\, $20 for Non-Members if you pre-register online;  after August 28 and at the gate the entry fee is $25 for all car entries\n\nRegister online now for this great event!  Spectators are welcome and entry is free. \nQuestions?   Email info@ontariozcar.com \nPictures from the last Z-Fest in 2025 are available on our website.
