SUMMARY:OZC at Drive Festival 2022
DESCRIPTION:The OZC has once again been invited to participate in Drive festival September 9-11\, 2022.  Canadian Tire Motorsports Park\, Bowmanville Ontario. \nWe are looking for up to 10 vehicles per day to be displayed in the club section of the event. Depending on interest the vehicles may be displayed 1\, 2 or all 3 days of the event. There is no cost to display vehicles and it includes two complementary general admission Day tickets for the day shown. You do not need to stay by your vehicle all day and are free to explore the show. \nTo be eligible you must: \n\nHave a vehicle in displayable condition.\nArrive at least 1 hour prior to the show opening to the general public. (Fri by 10am\, Sat by 9am\, Sun by 9am)\nMeet as a group in the parking lot outside the event in order to be moved in at the same time.\nHave vehicle on display until the show closes each day. (Fri 6pm\, Sat 6pm\, Sun 5pm)\n\nFellow OZC members that are interested in attending the show but do not wish to display their vehicle inside the show may park in the “show and shine corral” outside the show (based on availability) OZC members will also receive 20% off The ticket price for the day of their choice. \nIdeally the (up to 10) vehicles displayed each day would represent all generations of the Z car\, however this will depend on the amount of members that wish to participate. Preference will be given on a first come first served basis for members  meeting eligibility requirements. \nThe amount of members that wish to participate will determine which days are displayed. SUMMARY:OZC Cars in Cambridge Tour 2022
DESCRIPTION:OZC Member Keith Corby has offered to take OZC members\, family and friends on a tour of a couple of car collections\, including his own! \nOn Sunday September 25\, the tour will start at the Tim Hortons on Homer Watson Blvd in Kitchener (9:30am meetup\, 10:00 departure).  From there the tour will follow a lovely drive to a private owner’s collection located about 80km away.  (The collection has over 20 unusual and unique cars\, some great “yard art”\, several hundred pedal cars and other car related collectibles (we’re definitely intrigued!)  Next on to Keith’s own home and unique car collection – and some lunch!   ($15 contribution to lunch fixin’s would be requested).  After lunch\, Keith will take the folks to an Antique Mall in nearby Waterford if there is interest\, all wrapping up around 3 or 4:00 pm. \nWhat a great tour!   Contact Keith Corby if you’d like to sign-up or you have any questions!

SUMMARY:2023 OZC Spring Swap Meet
DESCRIPTION:The Spring Swap Meet is heading Northwest of Toronto this year for a change! Long time member Jack MacDonnell has offered to host our season opening event at his Restoration Shop. It’s a rural location so please follow the directions provided by Google Maps to “Jack Mac’s Resto Shop”. Yes\, you’ll find out it’s a bit of a drive but look at it as an opportunity to get your Zed out and put some early kms on it. Maybe even meet up with others and make up a convoy or cruise. Show us what you’ve done to your ride over the winter. \nGather up your used or never used Z-car parts.  Clear them out and make some cash or buy what you need for your ongoing project.  Check out some fabulous Zeds and renew old acquaintances.  New and returning members can pay their membership dues for 2023.  Find out about our upcoming events for this year.  Many dates will have been confirmed so you can plan your whole year with OZC.  You will also be able to order club merchandise or select from our inventory on hand that day. \nDisplay tables will be available for your parts.  There’s no charge for 2023 OZC club members but the cost is $10 per table for others.  Deadline for reserving or paying for a table is April 26.  If you are bringing a trailer or selling from your trunk in the (limited) parking area\, there will be no charge.  We need to hear from you if you are planning to sell parts. \nTable reservations\, payments and any questions may be sent to info@ontariozcar.com. \nWe look forward to seeing you there!

DESCRIPTION:Once again OZC will be attending Canal Days in Port Colborne – one of the many amazing events planned for a weekend full of celebrations. \nOZC Member Harry Wells (and family) will be hosting a much anticipated BBQ after the event… we have done this in previous years and it’s always an amazing event! \nThe day will consist of:\n– 8am to 4pm attend Sewell’s NAPA Automotive Annual Classic Car Show at the T.A. Lannan Sports Complex in Port Colborne (entry is open until noon)\n– 4:30pm onward… BBQ at the home of Harry Wells (food and beverages will be provided if you RSVP) \nPlease RSVP to Harry at harryawells@gmail.com for details (and so we can get a good idea on how much food to have at the BBQ!) \nParticipation in the Car Show is free and car owners can compete for a number of trophies and prizes. SUMMARY:OZC at Drive Festival 2023
DESCRIPTION:The OZC has once again been invited to participate in the Drive Festival at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park\, Bowmanville\, Ontario – on Saturday and Sunday of the event. \nWe are looking for up to 10 vehicles to be displayed in the club section of the event on the Saturday and Sunday September 9 & 10. There is no cost to display vehicles and it includes two complementary general admission day tickets for the day of the show. You do not need to stay by your vehicle all day and are free to explore the show. \nTo be eligible you must: \n\nHave a vehicle in displayable condition.\nArrive at least 1 hour prior to the show opening to the general public. (by 9am)\nMeet as a group in the parking lot outside the event in order to be moved in at the same time.\nHave vehicle on display until the show closes. (6pm)\n\nFellow OZC members that are interested in attending the show but do not wish to display their vehicle inside the show may park in the “show and shine corral” outside the show (based on availability) OZC members will also receive 20% off the ticket price for the day of their choice for the entire weekend Friday through Sunday. \nIdeally the (up to 10) vehicles displayed each day would represent all generations of the Z car\, however this will depend on the amount of members that wish to participate.
