SUMMARY:Canal Days and OZC BBQ 2025
DESCRIPTION:Once again OZC will be attending Canal Days in Port Colborne – one of the many amazing events planned for a weekend full of celebrations. \nOZC Member Harry Wells (and family) will be hosting a much anticipated BBQ after the event… they have done this in previous years and it’s always an amazing event! \nThe day will consist of:\n– 8am to 2pm attend Canal Days Annual Classic Car Show at the VALE Health & Wellness Centre in Port Colborne (Vehicle registration 8am to noon\, OZC reserved parking from 8am to 9am)\n– Plaques for the first 500 cars\, trophies for mayor’s choice\, best paint\, engine etc.\n– 3pm onward… BBQ at the home of Harry Wells (food and beverages will be provided if you RSVP) \nPlease RSVP to Harry at harryawells@gmail.com for details and his home address (so we can get a good idea on how much food to have at the BBQ!) \nParticipation in the Car Show is free and car owners can compete for a number of trophies and prizes. Since there is no entry fee\, Canal Days ask that you bring a non-perishable food item as a donation.  Before the show we are planning to meet  at 21 Upper Centennial Pkwy S  Stoney Creek at 7:00 am.  We shall depart at 7:30 am and drive to the Vale Health and Wellness Centre.  PLEASE NOTE: The organizer will only  hold spaces until 9am so we must arrive at the park between 8 and 9am. \nFor more information on the actual Canal Days event please see their website here.

DESCRIPTION:Join us at our first Nissan Dealer Event of the year in Brantford\, Ontario on Saturday\, June 14th.   \nThe excitement will start at 11am with an invitation to all existing Ontario Z Car members.  We will also open up this event to potential new members and family to learn more about our great car club.   \nWe look forward to fun conversations with other car enthusiasts from all Z generations.  We will have some great prizes from our sponsoring local Nissan dealer alongside other items from our car club. The event will also have a BBQ sponsored by the Brantford Nissan dealership to raise funds for a local charity of choice.  \nThe day will close out at 3pm with the potential for a local mini-cruise for Z car members from Brantford to Cambridge via Paris Ontario. DESCRIPTION:OZC’s spring swap meet is back at Florida Garage Ltd. this year! \nFlorida Garage has become the go-to shop for Datsun/Nissan owners – stocking parts and offering regular maintenance in addition to complete engine and transmission rebuilds\, carburetor tuning and rebuilding and so much more.  Check out the glowing online google reviews of their work and service. \nIn the back room\, you’ll recognize the master mechanic Tony Silvaggio who has tons of experience with Datsun engines (previously of Whitehead Performance). \nReserve a display table and bring all your parts.  There’s no table reservation charge for 2025 OZC club members; the cost is $15.00 a table for non-members and interested vendors.   The deadline for reserving a table is April 24.  (Hey – if you’re not a member\, why don’t you become an annual OZC member for $45 and get your table for free! \nIf you are bringing a trailer or selling from the trunk of your car – there will be space available in the parking lot – just call ahead and let us know you’ll be coming and how much space you need. \nQuestions\, Table Reservations and Payments can be emailed to info@ontariozcar.com \nWe’re looking forward to seeing you at this typically best attended event of the year (outside of Z-Fest of course!)
