Michael-Angelo’s Marketplace in Mississauga held their sixth annual Victoria Day charity car show in support of Credit Valley Hospital on Monday May 19. It was a beautiful day which drew a huge turnout of show cars and spectators. Approximately 300 cars came through the lot during the show.

Car enthusiasts enjoyed an impressive display of classic, modern and performance cars of all makes. Several car clubs were in attendance including OZC with at least a dozen Zeds.

The day started with Mauricio and Roy meeting at my house to convoy to the show. We got there at 9:15am, just in time to meet Will, Ross and Anthony to park together in a row that Ron Lane was holding for us. Soon after, Casey and Boris arrived. The lot was full by 10am, the time the show officially started. Jorge got there too late to make it into the main show lot but moved in to take Casey’s spot later in the morning.

There were a few other Z-cars throughout the show and we talked to them about the club. We had a good showing and all the spectators liked our Zedline of cars representing all generations except Z31. We stuck around until after lunch when the crowd started to thin out and the clouds rolled in. Overall, we had great weather for this first car show of the season.
