NOTE: OZC Room Bookings at the Ash Grove Inn (for this tour) are only held only until July 26th, then open to the public – so book now!
This two day tour is focused on driving through Ontario’s magnificent Ottawa Valley Region passing by many hamlets, towns and villages.
Wildlife sightings are very probable.
These roads have been designed for a Nissan, especially for the “Z”.
After arriving at Kawartha Country Winery (Wine Tasting), we’ll stop in the Buckhorn area for a picnic lunch (purchase or bring) then on to the Buckhorn lift locks #31.
Dinner location will be the Ash Grove Inn around 7:30 to 8:00pm. We’ll sleep over for one night at the Ash Grove Inn – this lodging is the premier spot in Barry’s Bay off of the lake.
On Sunday, our group has been invited to perform parade laps at Calabogie Motorsports Park. OZC Member Diane Dale should be racing her Datsun 240Z at this event. We can stop by to say hello and get the “racer’s perspective” of the weekend.
These roads are very windy with lots of elevation changes all paved. We’ll do an afternoon circle tour of the region.
There will be lots of driving (over 1100 kms and picturesque scenery!)
We welcome the members of OZC, friends and family to come out and accompany you through the whole event.
